High Five Moments of the Week

1 - ODA eighth-grader Zach Szmania broke his own school record in the 200-yard individual medley Sept. 2, touching the wall in 2 minutes, 3.38 seconds.

2 - The Cardinal Mooney volleyball team defeated St. Stephen’s 25-22, 25-19, 25-12 in its district opener Sept. 4.

3 - Heidi Miller and Cheyenne Miller combined for 21 kills and five aces to lead the Sarasota Christian volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Indian Rocks Christian Sept. 5.

4 - The Riverview High boys golf team shot 305 to finish second at the Riverview Invitational Sept. 3.

5 - Cardinal Mooney’s Cal Davidson Turner finished fifth overall at the Holloway Park Jamboree Sept. 6, crossing the finish line in 16:59.20.
