Harbor Acres home sells for $1.1 million

A home in Harbor Acres tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. J.B. Baldwin sold his home at 1510 Harbor Place to Richard and Tina Biter, Sarasota, for $1.1 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,114 square feet of living area.

Of this week’s 14 residential real-estate transactions, recorded between Jan. 16 and Jan. 20, the Harbor Acres home sale was the only sale to top $1 million.

SARASOTA
1350 Main
Allen Hochfelder and Stephanie Hochfelder, trustees, Sarasota, sold the Unit 1208 condominium at 1350 Main St. to Jon Baldwin, trustee, Sarasota, for $548,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,336 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $558,000 in 2007.

Harbor Acres
Nancy Schoenfeld, trustee, Robin Shapiro and Richard Wald sold the home at 1520 Harbor Place to Jeffrey and Christine Johnson, of Ashburn, Va., for $465,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,808 square feet of living area.

Landings South III
Paula and Mark Emmons and Janet and Murray Mitchell, of Ontario, Canada, sold their Unit 201 condominium at 5282 Heron Way to Edward Weisenberger, of Columbus, Ohio, for $216,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,775 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $200,000in 2008.

Renaissance I
Gerald Isaacs, trustee, Sarasota, sold the Unit 1616 condominium at 750 N. Tamiami Trail to Angela Celleri, of Roseland, N.J., for $200,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,120 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 2003.

George and Sandra Lawless, Bradenton, sold their home at 5805 Valente Place to Joel Faber and Marcia Faber, trustees, of Park Ridge, N.J., for $455,000. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,521 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $405,400 in 2005.

Hamptons
Charterhouse Estates Inc. sold the home at 5050 Flagstone Drive to Gary and Cynthia Sargent, of Ellicott City, Md., for $286,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,075 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $485,000 in 2006.

OSPREY
Silver Oak
Robert and Mary Flood, of Woodstock, Ga., sold their home at 9004 Wildlife Loop to Joseph and Diane Pelletier, Sarasota, for $600,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,587 square feet of living area.

Meridian IV at the Oaks Preserve
Donna Bertelsmeyer, Longboat Key, sold her Unit 903 condominium at 409 N. Point Road to Carole Remick, trustee, Osprey, for $500,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,203 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $782,000 in 2004.

Bay Oaks Estates
Robert O’Reilly, Riverview, sold his home at 519 Oak Bay Drive to John and Vicki Koch, Venice, for $229,900. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,305 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $385,000 in 2008.
