Which athletic option should an East County community choose for its first fitness-focused fundraiser: a 5k, one-mile walk or cycling event?

GreyHawk Landing plans to orchestrate an event to help raise dollars for later needs and events to be held in the community, or causes.

At 6 p.m. July 23, CDD board members will discuss which type of event it wants to hold and when.

The community has hosted events, such as its annual Daddy-Daughter Dance, but it hasn't hosted a walk, yet.

Other items to be discussed tonight include setting the CDD's meeting calendar for the 2015-2016 fiscal year, and reviewing pool rules.
