Lakewood Ranch vs. Bayshore
Lakewood Ranch is coming off a disappointing 12-7 loss to Southeast. The Seminoles stopped Mustangs quarterback Chad Rex just short of a first down in the fourth quarter to preserve the victory. The Mustangs hope their defense, which has allowed 19 points in two games, to lead them past the Bruins, which have been outscored 55-28 in their two losses this season.

Sarasota vs. North Port
The scoreboard could get a workout in this non-district matchup. The Sailors are coming off a disappointing 47-28 loss to Palmetto. Sarasota put up more than 465 yards in total offense last week, but allowed nearly 610 yards in total offense. Sarasota quarterback Hunter DeWitt and tailback Rod Tullis will need to have strong performances again this week. North Port posted its first shutout since 2005 last week at Braden River.

ODA at Moore Haven
Senior quarterback Evan Wilson, who threw for nearly 370 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for a touchdown in last week's 33-23 district victory over the Community School of Naples, will lead ODA, as the Thunder hunt for their second district win of the season tonight. The Thunder beat Moore Haven 33-6 a season ago.

Braden River at Palmetto
The Pirates will face a tough test tonight, as they travel to Palmetto to take on the Tigers who are ranked No. 1 in the state in Class 5A. The Tigers put up more than 600 yards of total offense against Sarasota last week. Braden River will need a strong performance from quarterback Eric Schappacher to be able to compete with Palmetto.
