Four-bedroom home on Bird Key sells for $4 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between May 20 and May 24.

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. John Brown and M. Leslie Dover, trustees, of Reno, Nev., sold the home at 619 Mourning Dove Drive to William Brody, trustee, of Sarasota, for $4 million. Built in 1999, it has four bedrooms, five baths, one half-bath, a pool and 5,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4,625,000 in 2007.

Sleepy Lagoon
Donald and Mary Haas, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 6201 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Patricia Cecchi, of Longboat Key, for $3,225,000. Built in 1990, it has four bedrooms, six baths, a pool and 3,590 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,025,000 in 1991.

Country Club Shores
John and Judith Hays, of Sarasota, sold their home at 608 Halyard Lane to Walter and Kathryn Lee, of Longboat Key, for $2.2 million. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,924 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.66 million in 2005.

Robert McFarlin, of Duluth, Minn., sold his home at 570 Golf Links Lane to John and Susan Hoskins, of Williamsville, N.Y., for $810,000. Built in 1969, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,589 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $14,500 in 1967.

Pelton Place
Richard and Dolores Pelton sold their home at 5144 Gulf of Mexico Drive to V Bay Vista LLC for $1.8 million. Built in 2000, it has four bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 3,030 square feet of living area.

Richard Pelton and Dolores Pelton, trustee, sold the home at 5146 Gulf of Mexico Drive to V Bay Vista LLC for $600,000. Built in 1985, it has four bedrooms, two baths and 2,565 square feet of living area.

Beach Walk
Louis and Paula Osadjan, trustees, of Egg Harbor, Wis., sold the Unit 4 condominium at 6809 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Daniel Anber, of Quebec, Canada, for $950,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,496 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 1991.

Longboat Beach House
High Tide LLC sold the Unit 602 condominium at 4311 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Richard and Dolores Pelton, of Longboat Key, for $600,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,140 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $360,000 in 2001.

The Shore
Mary Simon, of Towson, Md., sold her Unit 311 condominium at 5757 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Micki Khademi and Eshan Khademi, trustees, of Chevy Chase, Md., for $450,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,561 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 1989.

Longbeach Village
Joyce Brown, trustee, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., sold the Unit 13 condominium at 7125 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Stanley and Estelle Hopmeyer, of Quebec, Canada, for $335,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,170 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 1989.

Sand Cay
Edward and Mary Bauer, of Cincinnati, sold their Unit 213 condominium at 4725 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Bruce and Karen Goracke, of Omaha, Neb., for $268,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,071 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $375,000 in 2002.

Continentals Sea Club
Donald and Phylis Lange, trustees, of Madison, Wis., sold the Unit 3 condominium at 5591 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Bradley Bondi, of Arlington, Va., for $245,000. Built in 1979, it has one bedroom, one bath and 748 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $126,000 in 1994.

LIDO KEY
L’Elegance on Lido
Nancy Laudando, of Sarasota, sold her Unit A-1002 condominium at 1800 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Janine Cohen and Karen Francis, trustees, of Lexington, Mass., for $1.2 million. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,980 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,164,000 in 2008.

Lido Royale
David and Susan Shoffstall, trustees, of Plant City, sold the Unit 104 condominium at 115 Tyler Drive to Giovani and Gladys Principato, of Jackson, N.J., for $205,000. Built in 1979, it has one bedroom, one bath and 766 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $243,000 in 2003.
