The Founders Club recently named Chris Adams as its new head golf professional.

A graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in community health education, Adams also completed three PGA of America professional golf management program levels.

Prior to coming to The Founders Club, Adams was the head golf professional at the Sunrise Country Club and the Stone Eagle Golf Club in Palm Desert, Calif.

Most recently, Adams was the head golf professional at the Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, Fla.

Adams replaces former head golf professional Jim Owens who is retiring; however, Owens will remain as director of golf emeritus and a club member.
