Epicureans will unite this weekend for the fifth annual Forks and Corks Food and Wine Festival, which will showcase more than 50 Sarasota-Manatee independent restaurants and visiting winery owners and winemakers. The foodie-lovers festival, held Jan. 27 through Jan. 30, will feature vintner events and wine seminars for those wanting to expand their knowledge, a grand tasting and food sampling for those wanting to fill their bellies and live entertainment and a charity wine auction for those looking to expand their cellar collection.
Winemaker events with catered dinners and a showcasing of wine will be held Jan. 27 and Jan. 28. Three of these winemaker events are taking place on Longboat Key; see below for more information.
