Sarasota resident and Pine View School student Olivier Bellanger was crowned as the new 2009 Florida state champion in the World Karting Association/Florida Karting Championship Series Rotax Mini-Max 125cc class.
Bellanger raced bumper-to-bumper against last year’s champion, Collin Alexander, with Bellanger beating him to the checkered flag.
“I can’t wait to do it all over again,” Bellanger said.
