A home in Fiddler Bayou tops all real-estate transactions for the week of March 16 to March 22. JP Morgan Chase Bank NA sold the home at 4266 Higel Ave. to John and Karen Melk, of Sarasota, for $1.95 million. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,992 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.58 million in 1998.

Billie Easley, trustee, sold the home at 430 Givens St. to Thomas and Claudia Latona, of Sarasota, for $1.1 million. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,768 square feet of living area.

Francis and Christine Kramer, of Sarasota, sold their home at 910 Contento St. to Curtis and Ronda Davis, of Sarasota, for $760,000. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,883 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $910,000 in 2005.

Frank Volk, of Sarasota, sold his home at 5580 Cape Leyte Drive to Peter and Agnes Kovacs, of Lakeland, for $420,000. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,815 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $63,500 in 1976.
