The Florida Highway Patrol soon will launching a campaign aimed at reducing commercial motor vehicle-related crashes, injuries and fatalities.
By combining outreach and education with targeted enforcement activities, the FHP hopes to raise awareness about safe driving behaviors.
From March 30 through April 4, troopers statewide will be on the lookout for car and truck drivers who commit violations attributed to aggressive driving, such as following too closely, speeding and unsafely changing lanes.
FHP also will used billboard and radio messages to promote the idea.
