FCCLA leader visits Tallahassee

Lakewood Ranch High School sophomore Micaela Figueroa represented District 7 Family, Career and Community Leaders of America in Tallahassee during the recent Career and Technical Education on the Hill event.

While there, Figueroa informed state leaders about FCCLA as well as family and consumer science classes. She also had the opportunity to meet with Sen. Mike Bennett to address the need for continued support of CTE programs in Florida schools.
