Basketball

Tina Hadley has stepped down as Lakewood Ranch's girls basketball coach. Hadley's husband, Carlton Hadley Jr., has also stepped down from his position as the Mustangs football team's defensive coordinator. 

Golf

Mickey Seidholz, Mel Schneidman, Jodi O’Neill and Mary Jane Sanacore won the 9 hole Ladies Golf Association "1-2-3 on 5-4-3" event at University Park Country Club, shooting a combined 61.

Ann Bergeron and Joan Greene (29) tied for first place in the Nine Hole Women's Golf Association "Throw out the Par 3's" event at Palm Aire Country Club.
