Baseball

The Out-of-Door Academy beat Cardinal Mooney 8-4 to win the Taylor Emmons Memorial Classic. Senior Najee Rhodes was named tournament MVP. 

Softball

Lakewood Ranch beat North Port 6-1. Madi LoCastro pitched a complete game three-hitter for her first win of the season. Mackenzie Meyer went 2-4 at the plate with a two-run homer. 

Golf

Barbara Harrison (165) won the Women's Golf Association Club Championship at Palm Aire Country Club. 

Phyllis Keller (25) won Palm Aire's Nine Hole Women's Golf Association "throw out your worst hole" event.

At Palm Aire's two-day Women's Golf Association Spring Fling best ball event, Carroll Baker, Carol Blackburn, Nancy Peverley and Kim Corrigan (-54) won the Solheim Flight; Diane Scheurich, Sandy Clarke, Joanne Fleischman and Nancy Kornberger (-53) won the Legends Flight; Sandra Zackin, Barbara Saabye, Pat Poirier and Diane Koplewski (-50) won the Symetra Flight; and Charleen Gorbet, Marcia McCarthy, Joy Pendergast and Janet Police (-54) won the LPGA Flight.

Loree Pogue, Daine Hennessey, Darlene Hoffmann and Carole Kakos (120) won Rosedale County Club's Ladies Day team variable net event. 

Ann Fisher, Nancy Bryde and Margie Bates won Rosedale's Niners Record Best two net per hole event.

Lynne Marlow (30) won University Park Country Club's 9 Hole Ladies' Golf Association April Fool's Day individual net event.
