Braden River beat George Jenkins 2-1 in nine innings in the Sarasota Baseball Classic. James Boldin's two-RBI walk-off double was the difference for the Pirates.

At Palm Aire Country Club's "3 Kings and a Queen" best ball event, Sherri Patchen, Joe Beggs, Vincent Tassitano and Josef Aichhorn (-27) won Flight 1; Renee Garr, Craig Talbert, Rob Spicer and James Corrigan (-25) won Flight 2; and Elaine Beggs, Frank Maguire, David Hirst and Jim McAlpine (-25) won Flight 3.

John Gerber, George Suleta, Leroy Probst and David Cobb (-4.00) won the Nine Hole Men's Golf Association at Palm Aire Country Club.
