East County resident robbed of antiques valued at $50,000

Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies are seeking information regarding a dozen antique motors that were stolen over the last six months from a storage building in the 1200 block of Mill Creek Road.

A sheriff's office report states the victim recently conducted an inventory and realized 10 to 12 antique motors were missing from his storage building. The motors collectively are valued at between $50,000 and $100,000.

Two of the motors were stolen within the last two weeks, while the others were taken at earlier times, the report states.
