1 — Former Lakewood Ranch and USF center Austin Reiter made the Washington Redskins’ 53-man roster Sept. 3. 

2 — Ande McDonald crossed the finish line in 22 minutes, 31 seconds to finish 17th overall and lead the Lakewood Ranch girls cross-country team to a fourth-place finish at the Estero Invitational Sept. 3. 

3 —Mackenzie Condrack recorded 40 digs and an ace to help power The Out-of-Door Academy volleyball team to a 3-2 victory over district rival Bradenton Christian Aug. 30. 

4 — Natalie Robson shot 37 to earn individual medalist honors and lead the Lakewood Ranch girls golf team to a 164-218 victory over Braden River Aug. 29. 

5 — Sydney Jaco tallied 12 kills, 23 digs and four aces to lead the Braden River volleyball team to a 25-15, 25-27, 25-12, 26-24 victory over Bradenton Christian Aug. 29.
