East County High 5 Moments: 09.03.15

1 — Braden River senior Tyler Dyson has verbally committed to play baseball for the University of Florida. 

2 — ODA’s Max Coutsolioutsos shot 34 to earn medalist honors in the Thunder’s victory over Sarasota Aug. 26. 

3 — Former Braden River defensive lineman Dakota Wilson, a walk-on at the University of Florida, was awarded a football scholarship from Gators coach Jim McElwain Aug. 27 after practice. 

4 — Lakewood Ranch sophomore Kyle Wray finished in 17 minutes, 11 seconds to finish third overall at the Lemon Bay Invitational Aug. 29. 

5 — ODA sophomore Nick Saranczak helped lead the Sarasota 15-Under Babe Ruth All-Stars to a third-place finish at the 15U Babe Ruth World Series, in Tennessee.
