1 — Lakewood Ranch senior Sophia Falco won the emerging elite triple jump at the New Balance National Outdoor meet June 17, in Greensboro, N.C., with a school record jump of 40 feet, 5 inches. She also set a new school record in the 100-meter dash the next day, finishing fifth in 11.59 seconds. 

2 — Matthew Garcia, a 2016 graduate of Cardinal Mooney, made his first Olympic Trials cut times in both the 100-and 200-meter backstrokes, at the YCF Summer Solstice Invitational June 17 in Orlando. 

3 — Lakewood Ranch’s John Rivera finish seventh in the emerging elite division of the 800-meter run, at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor meet June 19, in Greensboro, N.C. ,with a new school record time of 1:53.88. 

4 — Ken Miller scored 69 to win the individual low net Tara Men’s Golf Association event June 15. 

5 — Ann Bergeron scored 34 to win the individual low net nine-hole Women’s Golf Association event June 16, on the Lakes Course of Palm Aire Country Club.
