Downtown street closed this week

Second Street, just north of Central Avenue near the Selby Library in downtown Sarasota, will be closed temporarily this week for improvements.

Weather permitting, the road closure begins today and ends Friday, June 15. Vehicle access to the library parking lot will remain unrestricted while crews repair brick pavers in the pedestrian walkway.
