Community residents and neighbors are invited to an open house from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 15, at the Doctors Express neighborhood urgent care center, located at 2901 S. Tamiami Trail. The open house will feature complimentary health screenings and a tour of the new center, which opened Jan. 3 and is the first Doctors Express in Sarasota.

“At Doctors Express, we understand the health-care challenges facing Americans, and our goal is to provide solutions that make health care more accessible and affordable to the Sarasota community,” said co-owner Richard Kimsey in a prepared statement. “We want people to be seen by compassionate physicians and health-care workers who feel that high-quality health care and kindness work hand-in-hand for the best possible patient care.”
