The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has terminated one of its deputies because of his use of force in an incident on a school bus.

Dep. Mark Perrin responded to an altercation between a teenage girl and a teacher’s aide Dec. 15 on the bus.

The teacher alleged that the girl hit and kicked her.

The school bus’s surveillance tape shows Perrin demanding the girl stand up. When she refused, he jerked  her out of her seat and pinned her down in another one. (Scroll down for video.)

The girl can be heard screaming, when he is on top of her.

Perrin handcuffed the girl and tells someone else on the bus that she’s going to jail.

Witnesses on the bus at the time complained that Perrin’s actions were unwarranted.

“While this incident is a disgrace, it should only reflect on the deputy himself,” said Sheriff Tom Knight. “Our agency responded immediately to remove him from duty and thoroughly investigate his actions. This deputy was out of line, and his firing should make crystal clear that this type of conduct is not tolerated by this agency.”
