Deputies seek suspect in shooting

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has an arrest warrant for a 25-year-old man wanted for threatening his girlfriend with a gun Saturday, Oct. 5.

Sarasota County deputies are looking for Jerry Williams following the incident at his home on the 2500 block of Euclid Avenue. Witnesses told authorities Williams threatened to shoot his girlfriend, fired one round inside the home, then continued firing outside the residence, according to a news release.
