Deputies nab bank robber

Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man they believe robbed the Tara Bank of America Friday afternoon.

According to sheriff’s office reports, Andrew Huddleston, 30, entered the bank at 7223 55th Ave. E. and demanded money. He implied he was armed but never showed a weapon.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank. Deputies tracked and located him behind the Publix in the same plaza. Huddleston was charged with armed robbery.
