Deputies investigate criminal mischief

Someone has been shooting local businesses with a BB or pellet gun, and the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has asked for help finding them.

Deputies do not have descriptions of the suspect or suspects wanted for causing damage to four properties since Aug. 19, according to a news release. The suspects are facing criminal mischief and shooting a deadly missile into a building charges — both felonies — for the damage to Davidson Drugs on Siesta Key, Demetrio's Pizza, Hot Diggity Dog and Stragglers Bar.
