Early this morning Manatee County deputies responded to a robbery call at 5200 33rd St. east, in Bradenton.

A woman on her way home from McDonalds was stopped at the four-way intersection between 30th Street and 51st Avenue by two suspects, with one pointing a firearm at her. The suspect with the firearm fired a round into the air and demanded money. The two suspects joined two others and fled.

Later, deputies located a suspect vehicle near Interstate 75 and state Route 70 east. Deputies began pursuing the vehicle north on I-75. After a failed traffic stop, the pursuit continued north for several miles, into Hillsborough County. Stop sticks were deployed twice, and the vehicle ultimately stopped near U.S. 41 and Riverview Road.

All suspects were taken into custody. Deputies believe that the vehicle used in the chase is stolen out of Tampa. No weapons were recovered at the scene.
