County commissioners shower praise in evaluations

The county commissioners praised both Tom Harmer, the county administrator, and Stephen DeMarsh, county attorney, for their work and cooperation with the board during their yearly evaluations at the Wednesday commission meeting. This year was Harmer’s first evaluation as county administrator; he was appointed interim administrator last October after the commission ousted former administrator Randall Reid. Commissioners praised Harmer on his work on the county budget and his improvement in regaining staff morale. Commissioners praised DeMarsh on his work in communication, but said they hoped he could work on expediting responses to questions.
