County begins budget talks

Manatee County commissioners will delve into the details of the fiscal year 2016 and 2017 biennial budget Wednesday during a budget workshop.

The board will consider budget allocations for funds, including general fund, the transportation trust fund, stormwater, water and sewer and more.

The meeting, the first of a series of budget workshops leading up to the adoption of the budget later this summer, will be held at 1:30 p.m., at Manatee County's administration building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, in Manatee Room on the fourth-floor.
