Country Club Shores home sells for $3.25 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Dec. 7 and Dec. 11. A home in Country Club Shores tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Michele McNeill, of Sarasota, sold her home at 611 Bowsprit Lane to Dane and Judy Cornell, of Longboat Key, for $3.25 million. Built in 1995, it has five bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 3,185 square feet of living area.

The Grande at Longboat Key

Mark and Pamela Ketchum, trustees, sold the Unit 302 condominium at 4561 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Edwin and Maureen Schloss, of Darien, Conn., fro $1,695,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 3,260 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $950,000 in 2000.

Shipman’s Addition

Anthony and Roxanne Marterie, trustees, of San Rafael, Calif., sold the home at 705 Jungle Queen Way to Grey Gulls Seal Harbor LLC for $1,615,000. Built in 2011, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,078 square feet of living area.

Sunset Beach on Longbaot Key

Leonard and Bonney Libman, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 2202 condominium at 2101 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Shirley Nichols, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $640,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,463 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $505,800 in 2002.

Sea Gate Club

Gabrielle Miller, of Essex, Conn., sold the Unit 13-C condominium at 2425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Kathryn Maranga, of Bronxville, N.Y., for $625,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,470 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $177,000 in 1987.

Whitney Beach

Brien and Susan Stackhouse, of New Brunswick, Canada, sold their Unit 302 condominium at 6701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Martin and Karen Hafer, of Bradenton, for $385,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 990 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 2012.

Lido Surf and Sand

Randall Lasley and Ronald Bates, of Cincinnati, sold their Unit 303 condominium at 1100 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Douglas and Joanna Hansen, of Sarasota, for $701,500. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,494 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $520,000 in 2009.

John Ringling Estates

U.S. Bank, trustee, sold the home at 206 N. Blvd. of the Presidents to Lantz Family Investments LLC for $640,000. Built in 1954, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,705 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $670,000 in 2006.
