Country Club Shores home sells for $2.1 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Jan. 12 and Jan. 16.

The sale of a home in Country Club Shores tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Donald Robinson, trustee, sold the home at 580 Putting Green Lane to Hogan Holdings 23 LLC for $2.1 million. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,586 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.5 million in 2009.

Bay Isles
Dean Ducray, of Sarasota, sold his home at 3322 Bayou Road to Alameg Holdings Inc. for $1.3 million. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,441 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $700,000 in 2000.

Beachplace
Karen Darnell, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 301 condominium at 1125 Gulf of Mexico Drive to The Orange Grove LLC for $664,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,172 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $155,000 in 1980.

Longboat Harbour Towers
Judith Goldman, trustee, of Rockford, Ill., sold the Unit 901 condominium at 4401 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Strauss Family Partnership for $600,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,314 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2010.

Harbour Villa Club at the Buccaneer
Anne Jackson, trustee, of Sacramento, Calif., sold the Unit 201 condominium at 615 Dream Island Road to Edward and Angela Durruthy, of Windermere, for $499,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,514 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $610,000 in 2004.

Fairway Bay
Dulce Crane, of Longboat Key, sold her Unit 1301 condominium at 1926 Harbourside Drive to John and Elizabeth Madzula, of New York City, for $475,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,097 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $412,000 in 2009.

Bay Harbour Apartments
Russell and Janet Wilkins, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 304 condominium at 450 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Joseph Mohler III and Debbie Mohler, trustees, of Dublin, Ohio, for $387,500. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,194 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $360,000 in 2011.

New Pass Shores
Grietje Prince, of Longboat Key, sold her home at 525 Channel Lane to John and Donna Guido, of West Warwick, R.I., for $359,000. Built in 1950, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 988 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $79,000 in 1991.

Portobello
Edward Gartner and Allen Gartner, trustees, of Rutland, Vt., sold the Unit B405 condominium at 3240 Gulf of Mexico Drive to themselves as individuals for $350,000. Edward Gartner and Allen Gartner then sold the condominium to Edward Gartner and his wife, Karen, for $175,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,505 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2004.

Windward Bay
Deutsche Bank National Trust Co., trustee, sold the Unit 204 condominium at 4500 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Gwyn Murdoch, of Longboat Key, for $230,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,096 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $160,000 in 2000.

Bird Key
Charlotte and Charles Arnold, of Lancaster, Pa., sold their home at 339 Bob White Way to Citadel Properties Sarasota LLC for $740,000. Built in 1976, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,338 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $570,000 in 2002.

Lido Key
John Ringling Estates
Thomas Greer II, of Destin, sold his home at 228 Van Buren Place to Suncoast Opportunities LLC for $625,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,803 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $680,000 in 2013.

Lido Shores
Derringer Earl Catoe III sold his home at 421 Cleveland Drive to James Barth, of Boca Raton, for $525,000. Built in 1949, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,370 square feet of living area.
Robin Adkins, trustee, sold the Unit 502 condominium at 350 S. Polk Drive to Earl Catoe III, of Sarasota, for $425,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,036 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $115,000 in 1988.
