Council of Governments meets tonight

Local government officials will meet for the Council of Governments meeting tonight.

The event will be held from 4-6 p.m., Aug. 3, in the Longboat Key Room of the Manatee Civic Center.

Topics of discussion will include a hurricane exercise follow-up, post-disaster redevelopment planning, an update on the countywide film permitting process, abandoned vessels and moorings and pregnancy prevention among children.
