Cotton tale: Another record at Casa del Mar

It’s official: Casa del Mar is home to the tallest cotton plant in the world, according to the “Guinness Book of World Records.” The Longboat Key Fire Department measured the plant at 30 feet, 4 inches this morning. The last time the plant was measured, in 2007, it stood at 29 feet, 8 inches. The plant has been growing for five years and has made the “Guinness Book of World Records” on three prior occasions.
