8:28 a.m. — 1000 block of North Lockwood Ridge Road
Property damage: A woman reported that a basketball broke a window in her apartment. The manager of the apartment complex said she believes the basketball came from a neighboring apartment complex. The manager estimated the cost of replacing the window at $100.

STAY OR GO?
12:01 a.m. — 1100 block of North Tuttle Avenue
Dispute: An employee at a convenience store reported three individuals shopping in the store were causing a disturbance. The employee said he asked the individuals to leave the area, but they refused at first. When an officer arrived, the employee said the individuals left shortly after he asked them to. The officer told the employee to call back if the individuals returned.

BUMP & RUN
12:15 a.m. — 1400 block of Main Street
Dispute: A man told officers that another patron at a bar assaulted him. The man followed the patron from the bar to his car in the library parking lot. The man said he accidentally knocked the other patron’s beer on the ground at the bar, and the patron grabbed the man’s arm and told him to pay for his beer. The man walked away from the patron, but a bouncer later threw him out of the bar. An officer observed that the man appeared to be very intoxicated and confused about why he was thrown out. The patron told the officer that the man bumped into him on purpose, intentionally spilling his beer. The patron said he left so he wouldn’t get into a fight. Neither party wanted to press charges.

Dispute: A manager at a restaurant called the police because a woman was standing in front of the business, screaming and cursing. The woman claimed the valet service damaged her car. The manager said the restaurant was hosting a wedding party, and she did not want the woman disturbing the event. Two valet employees said they noted the damage on the woman’s car before parking it. The woman said her car was undamaged when she arrived, and that she got upset because another restaurant patron got in her face and told her to leave. An officer noted the damage to the woman’s car, but did not see anything in the valet parking area that might have caused the damage.
