WHEELS AWAY
10:30 a.m. — 2000 block of Sunnyside Lane
Petit Theft: A woman reported that her bike had been taken sometime in the past couple of weeks. She said she keeps the bike within her house at all times, which is why she suspected a man who was also a tenant living in the house. The woman was in the process of evicting the man, which is why she believes he stole the bike, though she had no further evidence.

FIX-UP MIX-UP
4:05 p.m. — 3300 block of Ramblewood Place
Civil Problem: A man was renovating another person’s condominium, conducting repairs that were covered under warranty. The property owner asked the man to do some additional work on the side, which the man agreed to do. When the man asked to be paid for his work, he said, the property owner refused. The two were unable to agree on a price, and the man requested police documentation to use in any civil action.

POWER PLAY
9:03 p.m. — 2400 block of Leon Avenue
Suspicion General/Unknown: A woman reported a variety of issues related to an unknown party messing with her and her property. She said somebody opened up her electrical box and turned the power off, threw a two-by-four piece of wood at her window and also threw a long piece of metal at her house. She said this is an ongoing issue in the neighborhood and has been affecting several people. She suspected a group of juveniles who lived nearby were responsible for the incidents, but had no evidence to back up her belief. Officers observed no visible damage to any property in the area, and other residents in the area who had their power turned off had no additional information on who might be responsible.

STRIKING TWICE
12:03 a.m. — 2400 block of Leon Avenue
Criminal Mischief: A woman reported that unknown subjects broke the east bedroom window in her home. There were no witnesses to the incident, and she said she does not know anybody who would break her windows. This is an ongoing problem in the area, and someone had also thrown rocks at her window less than an hour earlier. The woman alerted the cops earlier in the week that people were repeatedly disturbing her property.
