UNLUCKY BREAK
2:30 a.m. — 3200 block of Osprey Avenue
Property Damage: A man was sleeping in his home when his roommate’s boyfriend came to the door. The man did not let the boyfriend in. The boyfriend said he would be back and told the man to “watch what happens.” About 30 minutes later, the boyfriend returned with two other men. The group began to knock on and kick at the door. The man said he was going to call 911, at which point one of the other men went to the back of the residence and threw a brick through the window.

The man said the two people who accompanied the boyfriend fled the area on bicycles. He said the boyfriend remained at the scene and was yelling that he did not do anything. When an officer spoke to the boyfriend, he claimed he did not know the two men who came with him. He said his girlfriend lived in the home, and he was just trying to get his belongings. The officers observed the man was uncooperative during the investigation, and he eventually said he did not want his belongings anymore and would leave the area.
