BIG CHARGES
12:29 a.m. — 1400 block of Main Street
Trespass: The manager of a bar reported a customer for making a threatening comment after being told he had to pay for a drink. An officer met up with the customer, who said he was upset that he got charged $16 for a drink and refused to pay. The customer said he did not make any threats, and that he was leaving to go to his vehicle to get more money. The manager said the customer implied he was going to get a weapon and bring it back from his car, and asked officers to issue the customer a trespass warning.

WHAT’S IN STORE?
10:45 a.m. — 1000 block of Siesta Drive
Suspicion: An officer responded to a report regarding a man who was potentially living in a storage container in the area. The officer arrived on the scene and met with a man sitting in a lawn chair behind a large storage container. The container was secured with a lock, and the man said he was just hanging out and fishing at that location.

CLEAN GETAWAY
7:37 p.m. — 3000 block of Bay Shore Road
Suspicion: A woman reported her suspicion that someone had used a shower on her property without her permission. The woman showed officers a shower connected to the front of her house, and pointed out a stain on the curtain that she did not remember being there the last time she used it. The door to the shower did not have a lock on it, so there were no signs of forced entry, and an officer concluded the stain looked like rust.

PARENTAL ADVISORY
8:43 p.m. — 1200 block of Highland Street
Suspicion: A woman got into an argument with her neighbors because she believes they are not good parents. After the woman alerted the police, officers attempted to make contact with the neighbors, but they were not at home. Officers directed the woman to call back if there were further problems. 

FIRED FIGHTER
10:20 p.m. — 1700 block of Main Street
Dispute: The manager of a business said she had just fired an employee, and he was refusing to leave. The manager said the former employee was also yelling at her in front of customers. When the officer arrived on the scene, he said both parties were civil. The former employee said he was leaving and did not want to cause any trouble, and that he refused to leave earlier because he was waiting for his last check.
