Dec. 6
OPEN INVITATION
2 p.m. — 6200 block of Midnight Pass Road.
Residential Burglary. A woman returned to her condominium after running errands for two hours and discovered more than $10,000 worth of jewelry missing from her safe box. She told deputies the front door was open and a sliding-glass door was ajar. Officers did not find any sign of forced entry or tampering on the premises.

Dec. 7
SHOT CALLER
1:08 a.m. — 300 block of Avenida De Paradisio
. Suspicious Incident. A man told deputies he heard multiple gunshots and the sounds of someone attempting to break into his garage. Officers did not find any suspicious activity in a canvass of the area, and there were no other calls regarding gunshots in the area.

NOT TAKEN LIGHTLY
2:30 p.m. — 6900 block of Midnight Pass Road. Grand Theft. A woman reported to deputies the theft of $12,000 from a brown vinyl bag she keeps in her purse. She told officers she usually keeps a large sum of money, most recently $20,000, in the satchel. She said she takes the bag everywhere she goes, but recently noticed it felt lighter, after which she noticed the suspected theft.

Dec. 8
MYSTERY MAN
2:30 p.m. — 900 block of Beach Road.
Suspicious Incident. A man contacted a lifeguard when he saw a man with a scruffy beard walking with a young girl. The bearded man told the complainant the girl was his daughter, which the complainant thought was suspicious. Deputies could not locate the bearded man or the girl.

PUMP DOWN THE JAMS
11:25 p.m. — 5300 block of Ocean Boulevard. Disturbance. A deputy issued warnings to three bars for playing loud music late in the evening.
