Light duty
10:18 p.m. — 500 block of Ranger Lane. Suspicious Circumstance. A man noticed someone walking in the house across the street with a flashlight. The resident inside the home said he was having problems with his lights.

Nov. 1
Pillar talk
9:04 a.m. — 400 block of GMD. Property Damage. A manager reported that a woman struck a pillar in the carport. The woman said she didn’t contact police when she hit the pillar because she contacted her insurance company to file a claim for damages to the vehicle and pillar.

iCan’t find it
9:44 a.m. — 200 block of Sands Point Road. Lost/Missing Property. A man discovered his iPad was missing after vacationing on the Key over the weekend. He received an alert through his FaceTime account that the iPad had been turned on.

Family planning
2:22 p.m. — 3200 block of Bayou Road. Domestic Violence. A man called police because his wife locked him out of the house after an argument. He wanted to get his medications so that he could stay at their other residence for a few days. The wife said her husband suffers from mental illness and has been obsessing about her sister coming to the home. She plans to have her sister give him a call in a few days so that they can work out their differences.

Party on
10:29 p.m. — 600 block of Cedar Street. Disturbance. An officer went to a home twice after the same caller complained twice about noise from a party. The second time, the group noticed the officer and said they didn’t think they were being loud, which the officer confirmed.

Neighborly approach
9:03 p.m. — 700 block of St. Judes Drive. Disturbance. A man found that his neighbor removed a sign he placed on his property telling people the street is a dead end and said the neighbor has been antagonistic toward him and his wife. The neighbor told police she will continue to enforce the rules of her association’s board and referred to the man as “garbage.”

Nov. 4
Every klepto begins with ‘K’
8:37 a.m. — 4200 block of GMD. Public Service. A woman learned from her credit card company that someone charged more than $2,000 to her card at a Kay’s Jewelry in New York City.
