Kayak Problems

6:02 p.m. — 800 block of Spanish Drive N

Disturbance: An officer was dispatched to a disturbance between roommates. The woman who called police said she owned the home, and was upset because her roommate “lost” her $1,200, three-seat kayak. She did not wish to press charges, but wanted to know how to get the roommate to leave. The officer informed the woman how to begin the eviction process. The roommate said he was willing to leave, but would have nowhere to go for two days. In the meantime, both parties were advised to contact police if either felt it was needed.

My Wife Never Tells Me Anything ...

9:34 a.m. — 500 block of Outrigger Lane

Suspicious Vehicle: A man contacted police to report a pickup truck that had been parked in his driveway for five days. The caller said he did not give anyone permission to park in his driveway. The caller then confirmed that his wife had indeed given the neighbor permission to park the truck there.
