Nov. 13
Liquor run

3:53 p.m. — 7200 block of 55th Avenue East. Theft. Someone grabbed three bottles of vodka from a liquor store and outran security.

Nov. 15
Pet problems

10:30 a.m. — 2100 block of 152nd Court East. Information. An investigation was initiated based on a report of neighbors moving and leaving their dogs behind in the home.

Nov. 16
Jewelry bust

3 p.m. — 7000 block of Whitemarsh Circle. Burglary. Someone entered a home through unlocked doors and stole $3,600 worth of jewelry from a master bedroom.

Nov. 17
Open house

5:51 p.m. — 3700 block of 31st Street East. Burglary. Two bicycles that had a combined value of $1,400 were stolen from an open garage. One bicycle was recovered, and the suspect who stole that bike was arrested. The other bike is still missing.

Flash drive folly
7:26 p.m. — 8300 block of Lockwood Ridge Road. Theft. A man grabbed a flash drive from the electronics department, walked to the grocery store portion of the store and shoved it in his pocket; he left the packaging behind on a grocery store shelf. He was caught and admitted to stealing the $39.97 flash drive.

Garage items returned
9:07 p.m. — 8700 block of 53rd Terrace East. Burglary. Someone entered an attached garage and stole a set of golf clubs and an office chair valued at a combined $300. The items were later recovered before police arrived.

Nov. 18
Purse mishap

7:41 a.m. — 2800 block of 48th Way East. Lost Property. A woman reported that she lost her driver’s license, which may have gone missing when she transferred the contents of her purse to a new purse.

Discount
2:23 p.m. — 7300 block of 52nd Place East. Theft. A manager reported that an employee was giving unauthorized discounts for merchandise to customers, depriving the store from making the correct profit on sold merchandise. It’s estimated the loss of profit is $1,295.98. The former employee was transported to jail.

Nov. 19
Family Fight

8:38 p.m. — 4600 block of Caruso Road. Disturbance. A brother went to his sister’s house to get medication for their mother. While the sister retrieved the medication, they began arguing and the sister asked the brother to leave. As he was leaving, the brother slammed the metal gate shut on one of her fingers.

Overprotective relationship
4:09 p.m. — 8500 block of Cooper Creek Boulevard. Trespassing. A store manager told police a couple went into the same bathroom stall together and stayed in there for a long period of time. The man told police he follows his girlfriend everywhere because he’s very protective of her wellbeing. The manager requested they be trespassed from the property.

Nov. 20
Field fight

5:52 p.m. — Intersection of Lorraine Road and State Road 70 East. Criminal Mischief. A woman reported that someone threw an unknown object at her car from a nearby field just east of Lorraine Road as she was driving, busting her passenger side headlight. The suspects ran away out of sight.
