The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

COUNTRY CREEK
 Dec. 5

11:22 a.m. — 300 block of 141st Street Court East. Grand theft. An unknown person entered the residence with several other juveniles, visiting the victim’s daughter. At some point, someone stole $380 from a wallet and an iPod from the residents. The suspect returned the items, but he claims he retrieved them from a friend who was also at the residence.

CREEKWOOD
 Dec. 4

4:30 p.m. — 7300 block of 52nd Place East. Burglary to a vehicle. The victim’s vehicle’s window was broken and a purse and a wallet containing a driver’s license were stolen from inside the vehicle. The person(s) then fled in an unknown direction by unknown means.

LAKEWOOD RANCH
 Dec. 1

4 p.m. — 8000 block of Lorraine Road. Burglary. Unknown person(s) went over the south front gate and entered the locked fenced in property. Once inside, the person(s) dumped a bag of potting soil in the cab of a white Ford pickup truck. The person(s) used the bottom of a flowerpot to break the truck’s windshield and also keyed the driver’s side of the truck. The person(s) used the contents of a fire extinguisher to add to the truck’s fuel tank. The person(s) then entered a covered boat and stole a radio cover and the fire extinguisher. The empty fire extinguisher was located behind the pickup.

8:15 a.m. — 5500 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. (Lakewood Ranch High). Criminal mischief. Unknown subject(s) damaged the victim’s vehicle by scratching the passenger side with an unknown object. The subject(s) then fled in an unknown direction. The estimated cost of the damage is $100.

MILL CREEK
 Dec. 2

8 p.m. — 400 block of 135th Street East. Vehicle burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the victim’s vehicle through the unlocked passenger side door. Once inside, the person(s) took a TomTom GPS unit valued at $150. The person(s) then fled in an unknown direction.

RIVER CLUB
 Reported Dec. 1

8:45 a.m. — 7200 block of River Club Boulevard. Burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in the driveway. The person(s) then fled in an unknown direction by unknown means. Two persons were later caught in the area and arrested for loitering and prowling.

SABAL HARBOUR
 Dec. 1

6 a.m. — 4000 block of Useppa Drive. Vehicle burglary and criminal mischief. Four separate reports state vehicles broken into either by breaking out a window or through unlocked doors and stole items.

OTHER
 Nov. 30

4:13 p.m. — 800 block of Morgan Johnson Road. Criminal mischief. The complainant reported that while he was at work, his personal vehicle was parked in a parking lot. The complainant left his vehicle there while he was working. When he returned, the passenger rear window had been smashed. The parking lot the complainant used is fenced, however he believes it is unlocked during the day. Damages were estimated at $300.

Dec. 1
6:30 p.m. — 4200 block of State Road 74 (7-11). Grand theft auto. The victim had his vehicle stolen from the 7-11. He left his keys in the vehicle while he entered the store to buy gas. An unknown person then entered the vehicle and fled the area. The 7-11 captured the incident on video and said it would call the sheriff’s office when it was ready to pick up.

Reported Dec. 4
2:13 p.m. — 2400 block of Lena Road. Burglary to a structure. Unknown person(s) entered the victim’s storage trailer by forcing open the door. Once inside, the person(s) stole two 5-foot drilling missiles and two aluminum racing heads. The person(s) then fled in an unknown direction by unknown means. The stolen items are valued at about $10,600.
