The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

ELWOOD PARK
Nov. 30
 7:31 p.m.
— 4100 block of 26th Avenue East. Criminal mischief. The victim stated two unknown males drove a red Mitsubishi Montero onto his property and dumped several buckets and a small pile of broken glass. The victim stated the males then drove off his property and headed westbound on 26th Avenue East.

GREYHAWK LANDING
Nov. 30
 7 p.m.
— 12400 block of Aster Avenue. Burglary (unoccupied dwelling). The victim returned home and saw her son’s television by the front door. She ran out and called the police and then discovered other items had been stolen.

LAKEWOOD RANCH
Nov. 30
 9 a.m.
— 5540 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. (MTI). Vehicle burglary. The victim parked his car at MTI, his place of employment at 9 a.m. When he returned at 2 p.m., he noticed his back window had been pried open and his Selenium speaker was missing.

SABAL HARBOUR
Dec. 1
 5 p.m.
— 4500 block of Abacos Place. Criminal mischief. The front entry door handle was broken, which made it impossible to enter the residence. The deputy observed the lower half of the screen door on the south side of the rear lanai to be missing. The victim is the Realtor that Precision Asset Management hired to sell the property. Precision Asset was acquired by Chase Morgan Bank to manage the property. The victim stated no other damage had occurred inside the residence and no property was missing. Damages totaled about $300.

SILVERLAKE
Nov. 30
 9 a.m.
— 5900 block of 48th Street E. Burglary. Unknown person(s) forced their way through the front door at the location. While inside, they ransacked through dresser drawers and various boxes. Suspects stole about $2,500 in miscellaneous household items.

OTHER
Nov. 30
 3:10 p.m. 
— 11002 S.R. 64 E. (Hess). Possession of marijuana. After receiving a call about juveniles in a red car traveling north on Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, deputies responded to the area and located the suspect vehicle, which was pulled over after a traffic infraction was observed. Upon contact with the driver, the deputy immediately noticed the smell of marijuana emerging from the car. Another deputy responded and assisted in searching the vehicle. Marijuana was located in a plastic bag in the center console. The other three occupants of the vehicle were released on their own recognizance, and the vehicle was turned over to the defendants’ parents, who responded to the scene. The defendant was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center without incident after being cleared.

Dec. 1
 6:18 a.m. 
— 8600 block of State Road 70 East (Hess). Grand theft, embezzlement and assault. An employee was caught stealing cigarettes and taken to jail.
