The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

GREENBROOK
 Nov. 15

10 p.m. — 6300 block of Royal Tern Circle. Criminal mischief. The complainant reported the driver’s side front window of his vehicle had been smashed. He stated the window is tinted, so there were only a few shards of glass on the floor. The estimated cost of the damage is $250.
 
LAKEWOOD RANCH
 Nov. 12

2 p.m. — 8200 block of Nature’s Way. Vehicle burglary. Unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the victim’s vehicle by smashing the rear passenger window with an unknown object. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole the victim’s purse from the rear passenger side floorboard. The suspect(s) fled in an unknown direction by unknown means.
 
MYAKKA CITY
 Nov. 14

3:30 p.m. — 5600 block of Wauchula Road. Armed burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the unlocked residence and removed $9,257 in property. The scene was dusted for prints, and photographs were taken.
 
RIVER CLUB
 Reported Nov. 13

1:51 p.m. — 6215 River Club Blvd. (Braden River Middle School). Petit theft. The complainant, a teacher at the school, took a cell phone from a student and put it in the assistant principal’s mailbox in the office. When the assistant principal went to get the phone, it was gone. An unknown person stole the phone and fled in an unknown direction.
 
SUMMERFIELD
 Nov. 12 

10 p.m. — 6200 block of White Clover Circle. Vehicle burglary. The victim discovered an unknown person(s) entered her vehicle when her neighbor informed her he found a pink purse in his recycle bin. The victim realized the purse was hers, and after inspecting her vehicle, she discovered her purse and car radio had been removed. The person(s) fled in an unknown direction.
 
OTHER
 Nov. 9

2 a.m. — 7000 block of 36th Avenue East. Burglary to an unoccupied vehicle. Unknown person(s) stole the complainant’s medication from his unlocked vehicle, which was parked in front of his residence. The complainant stated his driveway is long, so he leaves his vehicle unlocked.
 
Nov. 10
2:10 p.m. — 19900 block of State Road 64 East. Armed burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the back of the residence through the sliding glass door. There were no signs of forced entry, but the alarm was active and set off. The victims stated they have been having issues with the alarm, so when it went off, one of the victims responded, met with the deputy and advised the deputy that they were having problems with the alarm and that everything was OK. An Xbox 360 and a Taurus .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun were stolen from the victim’s room. The scene was processed for prints. The total value of the stolen property is $500.
 
Nov. 12
10:04 a.m. — 1600 block of Morgan Johnson Road. Unauthorized use of credit card. The victim had several purchases appear on her credit card she didn’t authorize. The transactions appear to have occurred at gas stations in the Orlando area.
 
Reported Nov. 12
10:34 a.m. — 3515 Morgan Johnson Road (Bashaw Elementary). Grand theft. The complainant reported funds had been stolen from a lock box in the school. The school put money, checks and receipts into a lock box that was hanging on the door to the school. The complainant stated there was enough room to fit your hand down into the box and pull items out. When she opened the box, she discovered the checks and receipts were still in there but the cash missing.
