The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

PALM-AIRE
 Reported Nov. 3

11:57 a.m. — 5600 block of Golf Pointe Drive. Information. The complainant stated there have been large quantities of water used from a water faucet that has been turned off. The complainant also stated the faucet was only to be used for residents of the park to wash their vehicles, and 2,800 gallons of water is too much for vehicle cleaning.

RIVER CLUB
 Nov. 5 

9:05 a.m. — 6215 River Club Blvd. (Braden River Middle School). Disorderly conduct. The juvenile suspect went up to another student in the courtyard and started to argue with her in front of more than 900 students. The fight disrupted the entire courtyard as students ran over to see what was happening. The juvenile suspect started to push and hit the victim. She was ordered to stop, and when she didn’t, she was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.

RIVER’S EDGE
 Reported Nov. 3

8:50 a.m. — 6500 block of 67th Court East. Fraudulent use of a credit card. Wachovia Bank notified the victim her card number was used online three times at three different merchants. The total amount of the purchases was $490.14. The victim still has the card in her possession, but she has since canceled the account.

WATERLEFE
 Nov. 1

8 a.m. — 10900 block of Big Bass Place. Burglary. Unknown person(s) removed three pieces of jewelry from the victim’s jewelry box, which was located in her bedroom. The victim stated the house was unsecured on more than one occasion for the cleaning crew. Photos were taken and the scene was dusted for prints. The value of the stolen jewelry is about $7,054.

OTHER
 Nov. 1

5 p.m. — 2800 block of 51st Street East. Grand theft (vessel). Unknown person(s) stole the boat, which was tied up in the water behind the victim’s residence. The boat’s keys were in the ignition at the time of the incident. The person(s) then fled either driving the boat or towing it in an unknown direction in the river.

Nov. 4
7 p.m. — 7800 block of 38th Court East. Vehicle burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a nurse’s bag with all of its contents and a laptop computer.

Nov. 2
12:15 p.m. — 9501 S.R. 64 E. (Haile Middle School). Theft. The juvenile suspect opened another student’s backpack and stole her cell phone. The victim’s parent does not wish to prosecute and agreed to have her daughter sign a waiver of prosecution as long as she is able to get her cell phone back. The suspect agreed to give the phone back once law enforcement arrived at her house.

Nov. 3
8:30 a.m. — 6545 S.R. 70 E. (Braden River High). Battery. Two students backed the victim into a corner and started punching him while the teacher was outside the classroom. The suspects explained they were playing with the victim and not trying to hurt him. The victim also stated they weren’t trying to hurt him, but he didn’t want to be punched or backed into a corner. The students’ parents were notified, but the victim didn’t want criminal charges filed. Instead, he wanted the school to discipline them both. No charges are being filed.
