The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

COUNTRY MEADOWS
 Aug. 12

1 p.m. — 400 block of Country Meadows Way. Burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed several items from the sun visor before fleeing in an unknown direction.
 
GREENBROOK
 Aug. 16

9:15 p.m. — 6100 block of Blue Runner Court. Occupied armed burglary to a dwelling. A 16-year-old was seen entering the residence’s open garage and taking a bicycle. The juvenile rode off on the bike and was then pushed off of it shortly after by the homeowner who witnessed the burglary. The juvenile suspect was reportedly armed with a 4- to 5-inch knife during the burglary. The owner wanted to prosecute, so the child was arrested and charged with the listed offense.
 
GREYHAWK LANDING
 Reported Aug. 16

10:05 a.m. — 200 block of Dahlia Court. Grand theft. The victim stated an unknown person stole two rings and a camera from his residence. He also stated he believes his girlfriend may have committed the crime because his residence was not broken into, but no one was seen taking the items.

MANATEE OAKS
 Aug. 14

3:30 a.m. — 3500 block of 50th Avenue East. Grand theft. The victim reported that an unknown subject removed a dry box containing electronics and other items from his boat.
  
MILL CREEK
 Aug. 12

11 p.m. — 3800 block of 67th Avenue Terrace East. Burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and stole an in-dash stereo and a GPS system. The items are valued at about $2,500.
 
Reported Aug. 15
3:30 p.m. — 400 block of 137th Street Northeast. Vehicle burglary. The complainant learned from her neighbors that some juveniles in the neighborhood were caught burglarizing unlocked vehicles. The complainant’s vehicle was burglarized, but she never reported the incident because only a faceplate for the radio and $5 in change were stolen from her unlocked vehicle. She now wants to report the burglary in case the faceplate was found in the juveniles’ possession.
 
RIVER OAKS
 Aug. 14

7:20 a.m. — 5600 block of 41st Avenue East. Burglary. Unknown person(s) removed the window screen from the rear west bedroom but did not gain entry. The person(s) then entered the unlocked rear screened porch and pried the rear kitchen door with what appeared to be a screwdriver but still did not gain entry. The person(s) then broke the kitchen window with a possible cinder block and made entry. Once inside, the person(s) stole $3,150 in items from the bedroom before fleeing out the garage’s side door. There was no other damage done to the residence.

RIVERDALE
 Reported Aug. 14

11:58 a.m. — 4700 block of Starboard Drive. Theft. Unknown person(s) took the pool pump from the listed residence. The pump had been mounted outside on the west side of the residence.

OTHER
 Aug. 14

10:26 p.m. — The intersection of Honore Avenue and Lockwood Ridge Road. No driver’s license. The suspect was observed operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Manatee County Jail for processing.

 
Aug. 15
11:31 p.m. — the intersection of State Road 70 East and Lena Road. Possession of marijuana with intent to sell. The responding deputy stopped the vehicle and located 31 grams of marijuana packaged for sale. The defendant was arrested and transported to the Manatee County Jail without incident.
