The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

COUNTRY MEADOWS
June 14
 10:30 p.m.
— 600 block of Country Meadow Way. Criminal mischief. The victim reported unknown person(s) damaged the mailbox in front of her residence with an unknown object. The mailbox is completely dented and detached from the pole.

LAKEWOOD RANCH
June 14
 9 p.m.
— 7400 block of Edenmore Street. Vehicle burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed several items valued at about $400. The person(s) then fled in an unknown direction by unknown means.

10 p.m. — 12500 block of Highfield Circle. Vehicle burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the complainant’s vehicle and stole several items.

MYAKKA CITY
Reported June 14
 1:30 p.m.
— The intersection of State Road 70 and Sugar Bowl Road. Grand theft. Thirteen sections of copper wire had been reportedly stolen from in between the utility poles.

RIVER CLUB
June 16
 12:18 a.m.
— 9900 block of Cherry Hills Avenue Circle. Burglary to an occupied dwelling. The complainant was taking a shower when she heard her dog barking. She went out to investigate and observed an unknown subject, wearing a yellow shirt, walking through her kitchen. The subject fled out the front door of the residence and was not located. Nothing appears to be missing from the residence at this time.

OTHER
June 15
 8 a.m.
— 800 block of Kay Road Northeast. Theft. Unknown person(s) stole the victim’s bicycle while it was leaning against a pole near the front door of the camper. The person(s) then fled in an unknown direction with the bicycle. The bicycle is valued at $100. The victim was unable to provide a serial number for the bicycle.

12:40 p.m. — 6225 S.R. 64 E. (Walmart). Grand theft — shoplifting. The complainant reported two males loaded two computers into a shopping cart containing two pillows, which were used to hide the computers. The males then proceeded past all points of sale to a vehicle that was parked outside the store. The complainant and other management personnel approached the males, who then dropped the computers. The males attempted to fight the complainant and the others who responded; however, Walmart personnel backed off per store policy. The males got into their vehicle and left the property. The complainant has video of the incident. The total value of the merchandise is $1,822.

Reported June 15
 1:32 p.m.
— Between 34th Avenue and State Road 70 on 45th Street East. Armed robbery. The victim alleged the suspect robbed him of $440 at knifepoint.

June 16
 3 a.m. 
— 4451 Tallevast Road (7-Eleven). Possession of marijuana. Two juveniles attempted to buy cigarettes from the gas station. The store clerk told them to leave the property and not to return. The juveniles reportedly stayed on the property despite the warnings. When a deputy arrived, one juvenile fled the scene, while the other was directed to stay where he was. During a pat down for weapons, the juvenile had a bulge in his front pocket, which was consistent with a bag of marijuana. The bag was clear and a green leafy substance was seen inside the remains of a cigar. The juvenile was arrested. The store clerk also gave the juvenile a trespass warning, advising him to stay off of the property or he might be arrested for trespassing. The juvenile was transported to the Juvenile Booking Facility without incident.
