The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

GREENBROOK
 May 30

10 p.m. — 14700 block of Sundial Place. Criminal mischief. The complainant reported  an unknown person pried off three emblems from his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway. The complainant stated he doesn’t have a possible suspect in mind and there were no witnesses to the incident.

May 31
12:01 a.m. — 14700 block of Sundial Place. Criminal mischief. Unknown person(s) punctured eight tires on four different vehicles. There were no suspects seen at the time of the incident, but the responding deputy stated that the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office received calls around 3:56 a.m. in response to ringing doorbells and a fire in the middle of the street near this location.

1:40 a.m. — 14500 block of Sundial Place. Criminal mischief. Unknown person(s) spray-painted the victim’s car with orange spray paint while it was parked in his driveway. The hood, windshield, driver’s side windows, roof and tag were all painted. The driver’s side of the windshield, the rear driver’s side window and the license plate were completely covered in paint.

4 a.m. — 14700 block of Bowfin Terrace. Criminal mischief. The complainant stated he heard a noise, woke up to see if his sprinklers had come on and went back to bed. When he woke the next morning, the complainant found his hammock and its frame in a nearby pond. An inflatable water slide located outside of the screened lanai had an 8-inch slice in it, and one of the lanai’s screens was cut. The complainant stated  there had been a graduation party going on in the neighborhood the night before.

SABAL HARBOUR
 May 31

3:30 p.m. — 4600 block of Sabal Harbour Drive. Grand theft auto. Unknown person(s) stole the vehicle, which had been parked in the parking lot of the Sabal Harbour Clubhouse, and then fled in an unknown direction.

OTHER
 Reported May 27

7:30 p.m. — 3200 block of 59th Drive East. Grand theft auto. Unknown person(s) stole the victim’s locked 2007 Dodge Sprinter company vehicle while it was parked in front of the company’s warehouse. The van is valued at $38,000. It was unknown who may have stolen the vehicle at the time of the report.

7:30 p.m. — 3200 block of 59th Drive East. Burglary to unoccupied structure. Unknown person(s) entered the victim’s storage warehouse by unknown means. Once inside, the person(s) stole about $50,000 in Christmas decorations. The decorations are used by the victim’s business — By Design LLC. It is unknown who may have burglarized the warehouse.

Reported May 28
6:50 p.m. — 3106 81st Court E. (4 Star Storage). Vehicle burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the RV through a locked door by prying the door open with an unknown tool. Once inside, the person(s) stole a 26-inch LCD TV, motorcycle gear, two motorcycle helmets, an in-dash ford radio and a TV satellite receiver. The items were valued at $1,200.

May 29
3:50 p.m. — 7365 52nd Place E. (Bealls). Retail petit theft. The suspect was observed selecting and concealing $59.99 worth of items. The suspect was later observed exiting the store with the concealed items, passing all points of sale. During the apprehension, the suspect resisted and the store associate sustained minor scrapes and scratches. The suspect was restrained, arrested and transported to the Manatee County Jail.

May 31
11:32 p.m. — 11002 State Road 64 E. (Hess). Battery. The complainant reported that two males had been fighting outside of the store. The victim stated that an unknown male struck hi and then fled the scene. The victim’s left eye was swollen and bleeding. EMS arrived, but the victim stated that he didn’t want treatment.
