The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

LAKEWOOD RANCH
April 26
 2 p.m.
— 8600 block of Majestic Elm Court. Burglary to an unoccupied dwelling. Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through an unlocked garage door. The suspect(s) then took about $425 in items before exiting the residence through the garage door. Deputies processed the scene and obtained 17 print cards.
 
April 27
9 a.m. — 18100 block of State Road 64 East. Burglary. Unknown person(s) burglarized a manufactured home and a mobile home owned by Schroeder-Manatee Ranch. The manufactured home’s locked front door was kicked in and the home was ransacked. About $1,500 in items was taken from the home. The motor home’s back door was pried open and about $50 in change was taken. Fingerprints were obtained from the scene.
 
MYAKKA CITY
Reported April 27
 1:30 p.m.
— 36900 block of State Road 64 East. Criminal mischief. The complainant reported an unknown person shot out the rented security light owned by Peace River Electric. This is the second time this has happened, but the first incident wasn’t reported. There are no cameras on the property. The estimated cost of the repair is $100.

RIVER CLUB
Reported April 26
 2:55 p.m.
— 6215 River Club Blvd. (Braden River Middle). Petit theft. The complainant advised one of her student’s had a Nintendo DSi stolen from her backpack. The student went to gym class and didn’t lock up the backpack and instead left it on the floor. On her way to sixth period, she noticed it was gone. The unknown person(s) who stole the DSi fled the scene.
 
SUMMERFIELD
Reported April 28
 3:11 p.m. 
— 11200 block of Beebalm Circle. Information. The complainant reported having trouble with her neighbor. They have been arguing about the complainant parking her vehicle on the road on county property. It has been an ongoing problem, and she wanted to document the behavior.
 
OTHER
April 27
 11:16 a.m.
— 8320 Lockwood Ridge Road (Walmart). Fraudulent use of a credit card. The victim was making a purchase at the self-checkout. The victim set his wallet on the register belt and noticed a $5 bill in the change return. He left the register to turn the bill into the head cashier. While he was away, a black female approached the register and placed a pile of clothing over the wallet. The victim returned to the register and didn’t see his wallet. He thought he might’ve left the wallet in his office, so he left to go check. The female suspect then placed her purse on the register belt and placed the wallet inside. The female then checked out and left the store. The victim found out his wallet wasn’t in his office, so he called the bank and found out his credit card had been used at the Hess station on University Parkway. An employee that saw the suspect thought she was a former employee and provided a name.
