The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

BRADEN WOODS
Reported April 7
9:52 p.m. — 6100 block of 95th Street Circle East. Information. The complainant stated there is an orange rope between the backyard of her residence and the adjoining property that serves as a property line. The complainant stated she was having a birthday party for her daughter when the neighbor repeatedly yelled out to everyone at the party “Anyone who touches that rope goes to jail.”

GATES CREEK
April 8
2 p.m. — 11200 block of Second Avenue East. Burglary of an unoccupied structure. Unknown person(s) entered the unlocked door to the rear of the residence while the victim went to town to take care of some business. Once inside, the person(s) went through the jewelry box in the master bedroom and took several pieces of jewelry. The person(s) then went into the kitchen and took a bottle of prescription medication off of the counter and three bottles of liquor.

GREENBROOK
Reported April 7
9:20 p.m. — 13500 block of Glossy Ibis Place. Information. The complainant reported he has been receiving e-mails from an unknown sender. He stated he has been trying to learn the identity of the sender and had told the sender he was going to notify the local authorities. The sender replied he was going to contact his local agency and file a complaint about the complainant harassing him.

April 11
5 p.m. — 13010 Adventure Place (Adventure Park). Criminal mischief. Unknown suspect(s) reportedly entered the dog park on the south side of the park and cut up a nylon canopy on one of the shelters with an unknown sharp object. The suspect(s) then fled in an unknown direction by unknown means.

GREYHAWK LANDING
Reported April 9
3 p.m. — 12700 block of Daisy Place. Uttering forged instrument. An unknown subject has reportedly been using the victim’s information to cash checks in the victim’s name and obtain money from the bank. The victim stated he has cancelled the bank account with Wachovia and has a case with the bank.

SUMMERFIELD
April 8
5 p.m. — 11700 block of Summer Meadow Drive. Burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the complainant’s residence through an unlocked side garage door and stole two cases of beer from the refrigerator in the garage while the complainant and his wife were home. The complainants stated they didn’t hear or see anything and nothing else was disturbed or taken. The value of the beer is $26.

OTHER
April 7
3:05 p.m. — 7365 block of 52nd Place E. (Bealls). Retail theft. The suspect reportedly stole $104.98 in items and passed all points of sale without paying for the items. The suspect was apprehended by security in the parking lot and taken into custody. The suspect was advised she was no longer allowed at the store and if she returned, she would be arrested for trespass after warning. The suspect was arrested and transported to the juvenile assessment center.

Reported April 10
12:50 p.m. — 4900 block of Lena Road. Telephone harassment. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) have repeatedly called the business without conversing. She stated calls have been coming in between five and 10 times a day. During each call, the caller is always silent and makes no attempt at conversation. The complainant was able to obtain the suspect caller’s phone number from the caller ID.
