The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

BRADEN WOODS
April 1
 4:30 p.m.
— 6300 block of 99th Street East. Burglary to a vehicle. Unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle. Once inside, the person(s) stole several items, including bank bags, before fleeing the scene.

10 p.m. — 6200 block of 99th Street East. Burglary to a vehicle. Unknown person(s) entered the vehicle by smashing the front passenger-side window. Once inside, the person(s) removed the stereo from the dashboard. It is unknown if any other items were missing.

MYAKKA CITY
April 1
 7:15 a.m.
— 26400 block of 84th Avenue. Burglary to a structure. Two male suspects entered the residence by cutting the back screen door and forcing open the rear sliding glass door with a tool. Once inside, the suspects ransacked the residence and removed an undisclosed amount of property. Two neighbors witnessed the incident and were able to provide suspect information. An additional witness also was discovered and a possible suspect was developed.

RIVER CLUB
April 1
 9 p.m.
— 10100 block of Clubhouse Drive. Burglary to a conveyance. Unknown person(s) forced their way into the victim’s vehicle and removed a briefcase. The victim located his briefcase on the ground just outside the vehicle and picked up its contents.

10:30 p.m. — 6200 block of Glen Abbey Lane. Burglary to a vehicle. Unknown person(s) entered the vehicle by smashing the rear driver side window. Once inside, the person(s) pried the radio from the dashboard. The victim located the remote control for the radio on the sidewalk in front of his house. The person(s) then fled.

April 2
 3:30 p.m. 
— 7200 block of Pine Valley Street. Vehicle burglary. Unknown person(s) opened the unlocked vehicle. Once inside, the person(s) went through the vehicle, leaving unwanted items on the front seat.

SABAL HARBOUR
 Reported April 1

12:52 p.m. — 4800 block of Bookelia Circle. Grand theft. The complainant reported unknown person(s) removed an exterior AC unit from his vacant rental home. The AC unit is valued at $1,800.

TARA
 April 1

10 p.m. — 6200 block of Cormorant Court. Criminal mischief. Unknown suspect(s) threw some type of projectile into the residence’s sliding glass door. It is unknown what was thrown; however, the glass was broken, and there was damage to the drywall. The owner is currently out of town. A neighbor is the one that found the damage. There didn’t appear to be any evidence of anyone having made entry into the residence.

OTHER
April 2
 11:36 a.m.
— 8320 North Lockwood Ridge Road (Wal-Mart). Grand theft. The defendant entered the store and proceeded to the electronics department. She then selected 12 Nintendo DS games and concealed them in her purse. The defendant passed all points of sale and made no attempt to pay for the merchandise. She was apprehended and issued a trespass warning.

7:30 p.m. — 6800 block of State Road 70 East. Criminal mischief. The victim reported an unknown person keyed her car while she was in church. The estimated damage to the vehicle is $800.

 10:25 a.m.
— 6225 S.R. 64 E. (Wal-Mart). Fraudulent use of a credit card. The complainant reported an unknown person withdrew funds from her account without her knowledge or permission. The total amount of the transaction was $204.24.
