Condo in The Grande Riviera sells for $1.75 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between July 14 and July 18.

A condominium in The Grande Riviera tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Charles Petrillo Jr., of Chesapeake, Md., sold the Unit 400A condominium at 420 Golden Gate Point to Susan Powers, trustee, of LaGrange, Ill., for $1.75 million. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,650 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $338,700 in 2009.

SARASOTA
The Tower Residences
Harry and Phyllis Shapiro, of Rosenberg, Texas, sold their Unit 1204 condominium at 35 Watergate Drive to Michael Doty and Valerie Jones, of Sullivan’s Island, S.C., for $1.75 million. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,985 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.62 million in 2004.

U.S. Bank, trustee, sold the Unit 1310 condominium at 1350 Main St. to Jay and iris Leonard, of Sarasota, for $1,035,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,288 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,025,000 in 2007.

Fisherman’s Bay
Fred and Karon Yates, of Sarasota, sold their home at 8963 Fishermans Bay Drive to Bryan and Tammy Berry, of Sarasota, for $821,500. Built in 1993, it has three bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath and 2,805 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $910,000 in 2009.

Mollie Nelson, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1651 Waldemere St. to Hot Breakfast LLC for $475,000. Built in 1951, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,784 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 1998.

Mark Serio and Linda Serio sold their home at 3533 Tangier Terrace to Fabian Manzano and Jessica Thurmond Manzano, of Sarasota, for $460,000. Built in 1955, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,841 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 1996.
